Artist Profile:
Phúc Văn Đặng
Phúc Văn Đặng, born in 1972 in Vietnam, moved to Denmark in 1981. He studied graphic design and works in design, concept, and product development. Over several years, he mastered using only black paint in his murals and smaller works, creating deep, saturated black lines that emphasize presence and meditative focus. His art, a fusion of street art, painting, and design, interprets life’s shadows and explores human relationships, emotions, and nature through visual fables balancing the abstract and the recognizable.
