Thiên Minh – a Vietnamese photographer, well-known for his B&W portrait photography, is launching his first solo exhibition in partnership with Gallery Medium called ‘Hoa Mắt’ at Villa Medium, marking a milestone in his 10-year career as a professional photographer.

The ‘Hoa Mắt’ exhibition is inspired by the multi-dimensionality of art, particularly photography, and explores how we perceive and define beauty through our eyes. The name ‘Hoa Mắt’ combines Thien Minh’s love for nature, represented by ‘Hoa’ means ‘flower’, with ‘Mắt’ means ‘eyes’, presents the connection to the soul that reflects on its own truths and beauties. Together, the words create a dizzying visual phenomenon, much like the way individual perceive beauty and art. There is no specific or clear view, no definite definition, but only the journey of feeling and vibration within each person’s soul can define their own truth.
